Find Compassionate Care at an Abortion Clinic Serving Patients from York, PA

Sometimes life hands you a decision you never thought you’d face. And when it does, you deserve medical care that’s not only safe and professional but delivered with genuine kindness. If you’re looking for an abortion clinic and you’re traveling from York, PA, know this: Potomac Family Planning Center is here for you, every step of the way.

Three Locations, One Purpose: You

We’re proud to serve patients from all over, including those coming from York, PA, at our clinics in Baltimore, Rockville, and Hagerstown, Maryland. Whether you’re driving or flying in, getting to us is remarkably straightforward. Many people make the trip by car, which usually takes about 1.5 to 2 hours from York, depending on traffic. If you’re coming from farther out or pressed for time, flying into Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport can be a quicker option, with easy access to our clinics via rideshare or taxi.

The Abortion Pill up to 10 Weeks – A Private Choice

For patients seeking a non-surgical option, we offer the abortion pill up to 10 weeks into pregnancy. It’s a safe, effective method that can often feel less invasive than other procedures. Let me explain: it involves two medications, mifepristone and misoprostol, taken in sequence. Many women appreciate that they can finish the process in the privacy of their own home, which can feel comforting during an otherwise stressful time.

Of course, we’ll guide you through every detail, so there’s no guesswork about what’s coming next. Because even when you know your choice, it helps to have someone walking you through it.

Uterine Aspiration Abortion up to 17 Weeks – Quick, Safe, and Effective

You might be wondering: “How long does an in-clinic abortion actually take?” Here’s the thing, it’s often much shorter than people expect. Our uterine aspiration abortion procedure takes only 5 to 10 minutes once you’re in the procedure room. It’s performed under the care of highly trained clinicians, using gentle suction to empty the uterus.

We keep your comfort top-of-mind, offering sedation options and warm, nonjudgmental care from our entire team. Many patients say they’re surprised by how quick the experience is, and how much lighter they feel afterward, simply having made the decision and moved forward.

Expedited Services – Because Time Can’t Always Wait

Life doesn’t always pause for medical care. Maybe you’re juggling work, family, travel arrangements, or just a packed schedule. That’s why we offer expedited abortion services at our Rockville and Baltimore locations. This special option means your lab work, ultrasound, and consultation happen as quickly as possible, so your time in the office stays at a minimum. There’s an additional $300 fee, but for some patients, the relief of being in and out quickly is worth every penny.

It’s about your time, your comfort, and your peace of mind.

VIP Abortion Services – A Private Experience Like No Other

Want a completely private experience with dedicated staff focused solely on you? At our Rockville clinic, we offer VIP abortion services, designed for patients seeking maximum privacy and personalized care. During your visit, you’ll be the only patient in the clinic, attended to by our full team, a gynecologist, anesthetist, registered nurse, and counselor. Your guest can stay with you through every step until you’re gently asleep for the procedure, and they’ll join you again in the recovery room.

From start to finish, the VIP experience usually takes under two hours. For many patients, that extra level of discretion and support brings invaluable peace of mind. Pricing details for VIP services are available when you call.
