Compassionate and Confidential Abortion Care in Rockville, MD

If you’re searching for an abortion clinic near me that offers expert care in a supportive and respectful environment, look no further than Potomac Family Planning Center in Rockville, MD. Our trusted team provides both medical and in-clinic abortion services, along with specialized care options designed to fit your personal needs and schedule.

Abortion by Pill Up to 10 Weeks

At our Rockville location, we offer medication abortion (also known as the abortion pill) for patients who are up to 10 weeks pregnant. This safe, non-invasive option involves two medications, mifepristone and misoprostol, that allow you to complete the abortion process in the privacy of your own home. Our team will guide you through every step and remain available by phone for questions and support. Most patients complete the process within a few days, and follow-up care is included.

In-Clinic Abortion Services Up to 17 Weeks

If you’re between 6 and 17 weeks pregnant, we also provide in-clinic abortion procedures at our Rockville clinic. These procedures are performed by experienced professionals in a clean, confidential setting. We prioritize your physical and emotional well-being throughout the visit and offer compassionate counseling and care before, during, and after your procedure.

Expedited Abortion Services

For patients looking to reduce the time spent at the clinic, we offer an Expedited Abortion Service for an additional $300 fee. This option ensures that your ultrasound, lab work, and consultation are completed as quickly as possible, allowing for minimal wait time and a more efficient overall visit. You’ll still receive our full attention and high standards of care in a shorter time frame.

Private VIP Abortion Option

For those seeking the highest level of privacy and discretion, our Private VIP Abortion Service at the Rockville clinic is the ideal solution. With this service, you will be the only patient in the facility, receiving personal care from the entire staff, including our gynecologist, anesthetist, registered nurse, and counselor. A guest may accompany you throughout your visit, including in the recovery room. The entire visit typically takes less than two hours.
